CELPIP LISTENING · PART 6
Listening to Viewpoints
Understand a longer argument and its implications.
A useful approach
Separate the position, evidence, qualification and conclusion.
A common trap
A cautious claim can become an unjustified absolute in a distractor.
Try a focused drill
Write the central claim and one condition that limits it.
Make the feedback useful
After answering, find the exact evidence for the correct option. Explain which condition or assumption made your chosen distractor wrong. Save the mistake and retry a related task after a short interval.
