OUR METHODOLOGY
Clear feedback. Purposeful practice.
Every response should help you understand your next improvement.

Practise the published task types
Our practice follows the CELPIP-General format. Listening has six parts, Reading four, Writing two tasks and Speaking eight. Full simulations use 47, 55, 53 and approximately 15 minutes respectively. Preparation, transitions and audio generation can add time. Listening Discussion uses an audio adaptation of the official video task.
The official Listening and Reading tests may include unidentified, unscored test-development items. Studio simulations contain scored practice items only. Check the official website for authoritative exam rules.
Feedback you can act on
Writing feedback covers Content/Coherence, Vocabulary, Readability and Task Fulfillment. Speaking covers Content/Coherence, Vocabulary, Listenability and Task Fulfillment. We organize each report around strengths, evidence from your response, high-impact improvements and a useful next activity.
Speaking feedback uses your saved recording to assess delivery and produce a faithful transcript. When only typed text is available, feedback covers language and organization; pronunciation and delivery are not assessed. Pauses, interruptions and incomplete endings do not automatically prevent feedback: we assess the usable speech and explain what the interruption affected. Silence or wholly unintelligible audio cannot support a meaningful band. If a recording or assessment cannot be processed, your response stays saved and you can retry.
Automated checks validate the feedback structure and quoted examples before saving a report. Your original response remains unchanged. New Writing and Speaking reports use one integer CELPIP practice band, such as CELPIP 8. Older reports remain saved and can be reassessed; historical ranges are not rounded into invented bands. Scores support preparation and should be read alongside the evidence and recent timed performance. Read the official scoring descriptions to understand the published dimensions.
Original, versioned practice
Our published library contains only original curated material. We do not publish automatically generated filler or template-expanded exercise banks. Each item records its task, topic, content version and review status. Automated checks cover answer keys, question counts and duplicate options, while new material is added in reviewed batches.
Content refreshes preserve completed attempts. Our questions train the published skills and language demands; they are not copied official questions or predictions of future test content.
Learning modes and mock exams
Beginner adds planning support, Intermediate supports independent practice, and Advanced asks for finer distinctions and richer language. These are learning modes, not official CELPIP levels. Mock exams remove hints, transcripts and explanations until submission.
Progress backed by your work
Recommendations use your recent attempts and rubric feedback. A recurring score limiter requires evidence from at least three separate attempts. Multiple assessments of the same answer do not count as separate practice.
Readiness combines timed attempts, task coverage, recent mock performance and study consistency over 28 days. The Progress page explains the calculation and activities needed before the indicator appears. It measures preparation evidence, not the probability of a particular exam result.
Your responses and privacy
Your written answers, speaking recordings, feedback and progress are stored privately in your account. Device recovery drafts protect work while saving or upload is pending. You can delete personal practice data from Account. The site owner can view your account identity, saved activity, recorded practice time and skill results to understand student progress. The owner progress dashboard does not expose your written answers, transcripts or audio recordings. It uses existing saved learning records, not live browsing or presence tracking; deleting practice data also removes those records from owner progress reports.
After you submit, feedback starts automatically once your answer or recording is saved. The relevant task and response are processed by our configured assessment service. The tutor receives your question, selected completed attempt and saved feedback. Learning support uses that context for explanations and corrective drills. Service configuration is managed by the owner, and model versions are retained internally for troubleshooting.
Processing policies: assessment service data controls, tutor and audio service terms, and learning support privacy policy. Owner configuration may change which service handles a role. Studio does not use responses to train unrelated systems. Provider-side retention and deletion follow the linked policies.
Account identity, payment records and minimal usage records remain for access, accounting and abuse prevention after practice deletion. Avoid unnecessary personal or sensitive information in practice responses.
Choose your preparation plan
Free includes the diagnostic, curated starter exercises, one full mock and feedback on your responses. Plus adds all currently published curated practice, all published curated mocks, complete history and advanced analytics. Choose CA$5 monthly or CA$12 for three months. Interac adds 30 or 90 days after approval; connected card subscriptions renew monthly or every three months until cancelled. Feedback and tutor requests have no daily cap. Your practice and mock access follows your plan. Short-term limits protect against rapid repeated requests, and reopening saved feedback needs no new assessment.
