CELPIP SPEAKING · TASK 4
Making Predictions
Make plausible predictions based on visible evidence.
A useful approach
Name a likely event and explain the detail that supports it.
A common trap
Speculation without evidence can become disconnected from the image.
Try a focused drill
Choose three visible clues and give a cautious prediction for each.
Make the feedback useful
Compare your response with the task requirements before looking at any score. Pick one improvement from the rubric evidence and apply it in a fresh response. Keep both attempts so you can see the change.
